The West End neighborhood is located just south of I-20 and west of the I-75/85 corridor and is home to the AU Center, which consists of Clark-Atlanta University, Morehouse College, the Morehouse School of Medicine, Spelman College, Morris Brown College and the Interdenominational Theological Center. Historic West End is on the National Register of Historic Places and boasts an eclectic mix of architectural styles at incredibly affordable prices including Craftsman Bungalow, Queen Anne, Folk Victorian, Colonial Revival, American Foursquare and the rarely still seen Stick Eastlake style. West End is a pioneer neighborhood for the Atlanta Beltline Project and has seen significant improvements with the completion of the first model mile including biking/walking paths, improvements to the White Gordon Park and an additional new park behind Brown Middle School.
