Grant Park

In Grant Park you will find hundred-year-old Victorian and Craftsman homes surrounding Atlanta’s oldest city park which is also home to Zoo Atlanta. The neighborhood continues to grow with more restaurants and retail options opening in some of the older Mom & Pop locations along with much larger commercial and park developments near Memorial Drive. Sunday morning’s Farmer’s Market at the Milledge Fountain is always packed and Eventide Brewery sits beside The Beacon on Grant Street near the Beltline. You can navigate the entire neighborhood on foot or bicycle to eat, shop, entertain the family or simply relax under a shade tree.

Ormewood Park

Ormewood Park is known for the Trolly line that ran through the neighborhood long ago and the neighborhood logo reflects that history today. The Atlanta Beltline defines its western border with Grant Park and the many cottages and bungalows offer a front-porch lifestyle reminiscent of decades gone by. Neighbors bike the sometimes hilly streets to visit friends and hop over to other nearby neighborhoods for lunch and dinner with ease. Values have increased in the neighborhood in recent years with constant, positive growth all around; OP even has its own spring festival now, celebrating the history of those responsible for its existence and longevity.

East Atlanta Village

East Atlanta Village is a super-funky, L5P-like neighborhood hub at the intersection of Flat Shoals and Glenwood with numerous bars, restaurants and businesses…known simply as the EAV. Surrounding the village are bungalow-lined streets with gorgeous old trees; houses here are affordable and you’re very close to so many other intown neighborhoods. The East Atlanta Strut is an annual festival bringing large crowds for its parade, and some of the best rock clubs in the city host amazing bands almost every night of the week.

Cabbagetown

Cabbagetown sits just east of Oakland Cemetery where its shotgun style homes were built for the Fulton Cotton Mill workers back in the early 1900s. There is a nice sized park and several great restaurants on Carroll Street not to mention some of the city’s most creative and artsy neighbors. Everybody’s favorite annual festival, Chomp & Stomp, brings chili and bluegrass to the narrow streets each fall, and more businesses are popping up like Brother Moto and Petit Chou. There are rarely more than 1 or 2 homes on the market at any given time in Cabbagetown and its popularity shows no sign of slowing.
